The approval for the use of our product range by the CEGB gave great confidence in the use of AMELEC products to both British Gas & the various water authorities who were also looking for quality signal conditioning suppliers at that time.
AMELEC successfully began supplying instrumentation to both British Gas & our first water utility customer, Thames Water, in 1978.
In 1979 we also began supplying Severn Trent and Yorkshire Water, as well as to the Eastbourne, Wessex and Lee Valley water companies. By the mid 1980’s we were also regularly supplying our instruments to the likes of Anglian Water, North West Water, Welsh Water, Southern Water, Northumbrian Water and South West Water.
With quality instruments supplied with up to 10 year warranties across the entire product range, along with our after sales service, fast response FOC technical support and site support service, AMELEC has continued on to supply a vast number of companies in the utilities sector over the years.
