As well as concentrating on the Power Generation, General Utilities, Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals companies in the early days, we also recognised the vast potential need for our type of conditioning, monitoring and control instrumentation within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Food & Brew, Paper, Rail, Marine, Aggregates, Steels and many other general process industries.
AMELEC has been successfully supplying instrumentation to a vast array of industry sectors since 1977. This has led us into many interesting, challenging and varied applications over the years.

To give an example of just how broad our customer base is, some of our earliest clients include; British Steel, British Sugar, Texaco and Allied Breweries from 1977; Commonwealth Smelting, Nestle, National Coal, Van Den Bergs Foods, Priest Furnaces and Thames Board Mills from 1978; Ministry of Defence, Vickers, APV Baker, Pilkington Glass and Shell from 1979; English China Clays, Heinz, Air Products, Crosse & Blackwell, Carlsberg Tetley and Conoco from 1980; Ingersoll Rand, Occidental Petroleum, Lever Brothers, Dunlop, UK Paper, Kodak, Kelloggs, Lucas Aerospace, Perkins Engines, Whitbread, Kenco, Amoco, Phillips Petroleum and Kuwait Oil Co from the 1980’s.

Supplying quality instruments with up to 10 year warranties across the entire product range, along with our after sales service, fast response FOC technical support and site support service, AMELEC has continued on to supply numerous different process industries over the years.

Listed on a number of approved supplier listings and holding various supply agreements over the years, AMELEC remains a regular reliable supplier with a wealth of over 30 years' experience across the general process industries.
